Film education charity Into Film, places film at the heart of young people’s educational, social and personal development. It also offers teachers and young people numerous avenues to do the same by including resources in the classroom around numerous subjects and the core curriculum, teacher training, film clubs, filmmaking, events/screenings ,most prominently through the Into Film Festival.
Most recently, it has introduced a free streaming platform designed specifically for UK schools called Into Film+. The platform launched earlier in 2021 and features a catalogue of hundreds of films catered to pupils of all ages. From timeless classics to exciting new releases, each film is specially selected by their curation team to support curriculum learning.

Since its release, Into Film+ has brought together a curated series of films, resources and exclusive content on the platform to support mental and emotional wellbeing in the classroom in the lead up to World Mental Health Day (10 October) and beyond. This collection includes collaborations with mental health organisations such as Place2Be, the Mental Health Foundation and Kidscape, as well as the filmmakers behind A Monster Calls, Inside Out and the upcoming Dear Evan Hansen.
It has also just launched a curated collection of Christmas classics and feel-good favourites to help young people across the UK enjoy the festive season. This collection is accompanied by resources and a review competition, which combines film and education to develop literacy, boost attainment and improve critical skills in young people.
