State Of The Nation Survey 2008
This independent Ipsos MORI Poll commissioned by Campaign for Learning and Select Education shows a substantial fall in the number of students who say that a sense of achievement motivates their learning. It highlights a shift in the last ten years in how students view learning, with a goal-orientated approach becoming more prevalent, combined with a reduction in a sense of pride in learning as a motivator. The research reveals getting a job or securing qualifications and a university place, are becoming more significant motivators for today’s young people. Folder: Leadership Briefings Issue 3.11 (35)
