Becoming a stand out school

Over a period of five years, Andrew Morrish took his school from Special Measures to Outstanding by abandoning virtually everything that Ofsted and the government took to be good practice in teaching and learning. Andrew Morrish introduces the ‘Standing Out’ conference his school is sponsoring in June to explore transformational teaching and learning strategies, by explaining how his school is carving out a new route where the teacher progressively becomes more and more invisible.
