Pupils Who Fall Behind In Key Stage 2

This DfES publication reports on the experiences and behaviour of pupils aged between 7 and 11 in 39 schools. The report identifies common characteristics of children who are making slower progress than expected at Key Stage 2 in English and maths. It includes recommendations on practical classroom strategies teachers can use to identify and support so-called 'invisible children' and 'children in the comfort zone'. Note: Summary only
