BETT 2006 is divided up into dedicated zones designed to showcase visitors’ particular interests. Feature areas include:
■ The Publishing Zone
This is the place to explore the breadth of publications available to you to complement and explain the benefits of ICT in education for all levels, from early years on up to higher education. You’ll find all the leading publishers of educational books and supporting materials in this zone.
■ The Subject Associations Advice Centre A new feature for this year’s BETT show, this is where you can discover how schools can make best use of ICT in different subject areas. Here you can find practical advice and guidelines on how ICT can facilitate more productive working for you and more effective learning for students.
■ The Becta Internet Café
This will give visitors a chance to check their email and also is a place where you can take a well-earned rest. Becta will also be offering access to their online advice for teaching professionals in this informal setting located on the Gallery level of the National Hall.
