National Curriculum Assessments At Key Stage 2 In England, 2012 To 2013

This Statistical First Release (SFR) provides provisional 2013 key stage 2 national curriculum assessment results for pupils in schools in England at national, regional and local authority level. It shows 1 in 4 struggling with spelling, punctuation and grammar. It also provides provisional figures on expected progress between key stage 1 (typically age 7) and key stage 2 (typically age 11). It includes results from the key stage 2 tests in reading, mathematics and grammar, punctuation and spelling and also on key stage 2 teacher assessments in English, mathematics, science, reading and writing.
