Fudge it or Fix it

The requirement to restructure teaching and learning responsibilities, following the planned abolition of management allowances, may appear a major challenge for school leaders. It is also a huge opportunity: successful headteachers have a knack for taking government initiatives and using them to further their own vision for their school; and the same is possible here.
