In early May, Ed Ball’s announced to a waiting world that parents’ evenings were a thing of the past and that the internet was the bright and shiny method for reporting information about progress to parents. Out with sitting on hard chairs in draughty halls and in with all-the-information-you-could-ever-need-at-the-click-of-a-button. Or something.
