Sarah Whitehouse
Dr Sarah Whitehouse is a dedicated educator and innovative scholar at the School of Education, University of the West of England, Bristol. With over 20 years of experience, she began her career as a primary school teacher before moving into higher education, earning an EdD and numerous qualifications along the way. Sarah has transformed history education by encouraging teachers to explore diverse, often controversial topics that resonate with today’s society. Her research on climate change education, water efficiency and the decolonisation of curricula has attracted significant funding from bodies such as HEIF, UKRI, and Erasmus.
