More Affordable Childcare

Childcare is a major concern for many families. For families across Britain, finding the right care for their children presents huge difficulties; whether that be availability, price or suitability. Parents often find it too difficult to arrange the right sort of care at the right price. This DfE report sets out the steps the government is taking to address the challenges in providing affordable childcare for parents. Alone With My Thoughts

1 in 5 children have symptoms of depression, and almost a third (32%) have thought about or attempted suicide before they were 1, according to this report from mental health charity, MindFull. The report includes a survey by YouGov of over 2000 young people which reveals that nearly two thirds of young people believe adding information on mental health to the national curriculum and training teachers would be effective ways to tackle the mental health crisis in the UK.
