After-school Science and Engineering Clubs Evaluation
Around 250 schools were funded from 2007-2009 to set up and run After School Science and Engineering Clubs over two years. The programme was established in 2006 following a government commitment made in the 'Ten Year Science and Innovation Investment Framework 2004-2014: Next Steps'. After-school Science and Engineering Clubs were intended to ensure that the UK retains a strong supply of people with STEM skills and to improve young peoples’ engagement and interaction with STEM. This evaluation report by the DCSF looks at whether these clubs and have achieved their aims. Folder: Leadership Briefings Issue 3.10 (34)
