So many people, it seems, really don’t know what to make of this ICT thing. Almost every day we hear about children spending too much time on computers, an activity often criticised as insular and unsocial – yet they are communicating with their peers in remote parts of the world, widening their experience of cultures other than their own and interacting in a very social way, albeit at a distance.
